Joseph Allen Bostwick
July 20, 1956 - November 24, 2025
With sadness, the family of Joe Bostwick announces his passing on November 24. Joe was known for his love of family, church and friends.
Joe's family and the water were his two greatest joys. He loved being on the lake, especially when surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Those times with a boat full of kids and friends were among the memories he treasured most. Joe also loved being on the beach surrounded by family, friends and Nutter Butters and watching his beloved Georgia Bulldogs.
Joe is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sally Bostwick, who shared every season of life with him. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Jamie Bostwick Cole (husband Nate), and his son, Cole Bostwick (wife Anita). His legacy of love and loyalty will continue through his grandchildren and great-grandchild: Abby Johnson, Noah Johnson (Kayla), Owen Cole, Grace Cole, Savannah Cole, Evan Cole, Blakely Bostwick, and Baylor Bostwick, and Sean Johnson, all of whom brought him immense joy.
He is also survived by his brother, Eddie Bostwick (Christine), and was blessed with a large extended family-many in-laws, out-laws, nieces, and nephews-each holding a special place in his generous heart. Joe's kindness, reliability, and servant's heart were evident in every part of his life, from his church family to his closest friends.
Joe will be remembered for his dedication, his readiness to help, his deep love for his family, and the joy he found in life's simple moments. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and generosity will live on in all who knew him.
We pray you are resting in peace, whole and healed, and celebrating eternal life with many loved ones.
There will be a Memorial service on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 11:00am Harvest Point Church in Locust Grove Georgia.
