Mr. Joseph Brown Jr.

SALEM – Mr. Joseph Brown, Jr. 43 of Salem, beloved husband of Kristin Eckhardt died Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Salem Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Biloxi, Mississippi, he was the son of Joseph and Kathleen (Burke) Brown. Raised and educated in Watertown, Massachusetts, he was a graduate of Minuteman Career and Technical High School in Lexington. A loving and dedicated husband and father, Joseph was happiest when he was at home with his wife and daughters. He liked watching movies, listening to music and had an admiration for collecting rare horror films and CD's. Suspense and thrill was his favorite, as he greatly enjoyed the adventure of amusement parks and the excitement of rollercoaster rides. Joe was a News buff who enjoyed a good cup of coffee while never missing the morning and evening news. He loved all animals, especially his cat Edward who found Joe to be his favorite person to curl up to and nap on. Joe was truly one of a kind, who touch the lives of many people; he will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by his family and friends. In addition to his loving wife Kristin Eckhardt of Salem, and his parents Joseph Brown on West Bridgewater and Kathleen Brown of Watertown, Joseph is survived by his daughters; Kali A. Brown and Abigail K. Brown of Salem, his brother; Philip Brown of East Falmouth and his nieces; Bailey Lynn Brown and Brighton Page Brown of Falmouth.
