Funeral services for Mr. Joseph Burch, Jr., "Yogi", will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 11 AM at God's Divine Vision Ministry, 600 Telfair Street in Dublin. Interment will follow in the Sun Hill Cemetery in Cadwell.
Joseph Burch was born on Friday, September 8, 1978, to Joseph Burch Sr. and Gentece Walker Burch. He attended Laurens County Public Schools. He passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025.
Joseph was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Albert and Naomi Burch, his maternal grandparents, Henry Walker, Jr., and Maetta Walker, and by his aunts, Gertrude Edmond and JoAnn Walker.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Marketa Charleston-Burch of Dublin, his mother, Gentece W. Burch of Dexter, father, Joseph Burch, Sr. of Dublin, his six children, J.J. Burch, Joel Burch, Jashod Jacobs, Chasity Williams, Dorian Darden, and Jahalea Burch, his sisters, Gwendolyn Burch Bigelow, and Tariyah Shipman of Statesboro, brothers, Trailshunn Burch of Macon, and Gabriel Brazil, Jonathan Brazil, and Antonio Marion, his aunts, Henretta George, Dorothy Mitchell of Cadwell, Gladys Boston, Daisy Givens, Mary (Roy T.) Nelson, Martha (Terrance) Davis (Terrance), uncles, Johnny Burch, Mathew Burch, Salomon Burch of Eastman, Paul Burch, Albert Burch, Sammie Lee Robinson, and J. T. Burch of Florida, two grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
