Joseph passed away peacefully at the Southwood Nursing Facility in Norwell, Massachusetts.
He is the son of Peter Camelio and Catherine Bennett. He is survived by his loving wife Diane Stone-Camelio; his siblings Pauline Trembly, Lucille Wilkins, Marilyn Camelio, and Raymond Camelio; his niece Linda Wilkins-Herlihy, and nephews Steven and Andrew Wilkins.
Joseph attended Randolph High School and then on to Wentworth University of Technology, graduating third in his class.
Joseph joined the army in 1963 and was stationed in Korea. He instructed pulse radar on the Skyhawk missile. He was an expert rifleman.
Joseph owned Camelio Construction Co. in Randolph for many years.
He will be buried at the Veterans Administration National Cemetery in Bourne on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024 at 11am.
He travels to heaven with his beloved work partner Molly, his cocker spaniel.

I can't belive a year has gone by already...Thank you for taking my Molly when I moved to Hawaii. It was the hardest thing to do but I knew she would be in the best hands. Sending you a big hug...and kiss my baby Molly for me. Give Margie, Nonie and Grandpa the biggest hug for me as well.

so sorry to hear about joe.He was always around to help anyone he knew,a terrific knowledgeable carpenter,honest,and hardworking,since his brother raymond and him selling newspapers at the top of union street.I remember buiding my house they were right there to help out.rest in peace my good friend.you will always be remembered.

Rest in peace Uncle Joe. I´ll never forget your generosity and every Christmas not one but everyone in the family got a gift but always in a brown paper grocery bag! A cherished memory that will forever live in my heart! Well all be back together soon happy and healthy!
