Joseph "Giuseppe" Caputo

Joseph Caputo, 76, of Monroe Township, NJ, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Care One in East Brunswick. Born in Mola di Bari, Italy, Joseph came to the United States 56 years ago in search of new opportunities and to build a life rooted in hard work, family, and tradition.
For many years, Joseph worked as a dedicated deli manager, serving his community with warmth, pride, and an unwavering commitment to quality. He loved to collect coins, and in his spare time could often be found in his garden, pursuits that brought him great joy and peace.
Joseph was predeceased by his parents, Gianbattista and Rosa Caputo, and his brother, Vito Caputo. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Nancy Caputo; his loving sons, John Caputo (Elisabeth) and Ralph Caputo (Kaitlin); his sister, Maria Ranieri (Nicola); and his cherished grandchildren-John, Stella, Abigail, Joseph, Sophia, and Matthew-who were the light of his life.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, December 11th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, 11:00AM at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church in Manalapan.
