Joe was a dedicated family man. He was happiest at home with his wife and children and he always made time for his grandchildren. Summer vacations were always fond memories for Joe's family. Pizza nights with his grandchildren were regular occasions and they all knew how to pour 3 fingers of his favorite red wine. An electrician by trade, Joe was also a skilled handyman and was quick to lend a hand at his children's homes. In his more quiet times, Joe enjoyed relaxing in his armchair with the newspaper and watching TV.
Beloved husband for 68 years to Lorraine (nee Geiger). Cherished father of Joseph (Kathleen) Castronuovo, Lorraine (Thomas) Nolan and Nancy (Thomas) Starke. Devoted grandfather of Sarah (Francis). Jennifer (Willard), Thomas, Christopher, Joseph, Kelly (Nick), Kimberly, Alison, Karyn, Kyle and the late Emily. Loving great-grandfather of Benjamin, Kyle, Harley and Cooper.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral Thursday February 2, 2023 from 9:30 - 10:45 AM at Our Lady of Calvary, 11024 Knights Rd. Funeral Mass 11:00 AM. Rite of Committal Resurrection Cemetery. To share a memory of Joseph, please visit www.tjfluehr.com
