On May 31st, 2025,Joseph Seth Caudell age 89, of Ridgeville, SC passed away at home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of 71 years to the late Rose Marie Caudell, who recently passed on March 18, 2025. Devoted father of Patricia Szuster and her husband Sergio, Terry Caudell and his wife Sharon; Brenda Malinowski and her husband Chris, and Sandra Caudell. Cherished grandfather of Shannon Lund, Erich Caudell, Angela Beers, CJ Malinowski, Kim Hickman, Justin Wirtanen, Dani VanGosen and Jeanne Chagnon. Loving great grandfather of Twenty great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Oma Lee Reeves and brother William Caudell. He was preceded in death by his brother Monroe Caudell and sister Jean. He was such a strong man, devoted to his family and endured many health issues with such dignity. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Memorial service will be held at St. Joseph Church in Perry Hall at a later date.

We sure love Uncle Joe. What a sweet man. He was so nice and patient with us as kids. He and Aunt Babe just seemed so great together - inspirational really. I loved the tree planting option you all offered. We decided to do that to honor Uncle Joe. The remaining 4 Millers planted 10 for him and Aunt Babe. God bless you all and protect your hearts in the coming months.
