Joesph B. Cedars, 48, of Greenwood, Indiana passed away March 16, 2025.
He was born on November 17, 1976, to the late Daniel E. Cedars and Terry Ann (Slicer) Collins in Indianapolis.
Joe is survived by his granny, Mary Miller; sister, Mari Jared; nieces, Cassy Andrews (Mike), and Lexi Hensley (Blake). Joe was great uncle to Lelynd, Raeleigh, Greysyn and two more due in the next few months.
Joe attended Greenwood Community High School and was known for always pulling pranks, he was a real jokester. He always had everyone laughing. Joe lived life on his terms in every way. He has a beautiful 2024 Mustang that he said, “fits me like a glove”. Joe had been working hard on his credit and was very proud of how far he had come. It was up to 789! He was a true lover of music, even as an infant. Joe loved to travel, gamble and spend time with his loved ones, camping, hiking, collecting guns and was such a smart man. Deadwood was his favorite show and work of art. He even traveled to Deadwood.
Joe had two rescue cats, Otto and Romeo, who were his children. Anyone who knew Joe knew this to be true. They are coming home with his sister, Mari. Joe had a cousin, Danielle, that he was very close to and her children. His family and friends meant so much to him. He was very protective over those he loved.
