Of Ingram, suddenly on January 12, 2024. Beloved husband to Lia (Gialanella) Cheeks. Loving father to Joseph IV, Ella, and Eva. Loving son to Karen DeVries and Joseph Cheeks Jr. and step-mother, Elizabeth Aducci Cheeks. Brother to Joshua Cheeks and the late Marlo Cheeks.
Joseph, a devoted father, and cherished friend, who passed away too soon, found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially when he was on his snowboard, carving through the snow. Joseph's passion for music, both playing and creating, added a beautiful melody to his life that will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. His greatest source of happiness, however, was spending time with his children, always prioritizing their well-being and creating cherished memories together. Joseph's warm and engaging nature made him a wonderful father, a friend to all, and someone who selflessly cared for everyone around him.
Family and friends welcome Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM in WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE (412-563-2800) 1650 Greentree Rd, Scott Twp., where a blessing service will take place at 7 PM. Burial will be private to the family.
