Amanda Nicole McManigle
Age 45, of Mars, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 8, 2026. She will be remembered as a compassionate, deeply caring woman whose life was defined by service—to her family, friends, and patients. Amanda had a creative and joyful spirit. She loved baking and Halloween held a special place in her heart. She delighted in decorating, especially DIY projects, working on puzzles, and bringing beauty and warmth into her home. Those who knew her knew she poured her heart into everything she did.Above all, Amanda was a tireless advocate for her daughter with extra needs. She was a fierce and unwavering voice, ensuring her children were always supported, understood, and loved. Her strength, determination, and unconditional love defined her as an exceptional mother. Professionally, Amanda dedicated 14 years of her life as a burn unit/trauma nurse at West Penn Hospital, where she cared for patients in their most critical moments with skill, courage, and empathy. During the Covid-19 pandemic, she stepped forward as an ICU nurse at Sewickley Hospital, answering the call during one of the most challenging times in healthcare. Most recently, she continued her nursing career at AHN Wexford, where her compassion and commitment remained evident to all who worked alongside her. Amanda is survived by her parents, Nancy & Lou Manolios and George & Patricia Vano; children, Finn, Nora, Theo, siblings; Emily Heim, Jennifer Manolios, Katie Pavlich, and Angel (Mark) Iacofano; cousin, Christopher Manolios; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Regis & Dorothy Cannon, Mary Vano and her aunt, Maria Slifer. Amanda’s life is forever reflected in her three children, who were the center of her world. Her fierce love, generous heart, and unwavering devotion to them remain her enduring legacy.
