Amy Johnson McManigle, loving wife and mother, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at the age of 46. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Green Hills Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:00 noon. Rev. Dunford Cole officiating. Amy was beautiful, kind, loving, caring, and overall a great friend. She was known for her bright smile, and loving hugs. She was always taking pictures and making memories at any moment. She decorated her home to fit every occasion. She loved meeting new people and loved her family tremendously. A talented artist, Amy could paint or draw anything she put her mind to. She loved all animals and had several different ones growing up on her farm in Crenshaw County. Her favorite of all was her horses, and she loved giving riding lessons, showing horses, and trail riding. Amy graduated from Luverne High School and went on to earn a degree from Troy State University in 1999. She had a lifelong career at Troy Bank & Trust company where she will be missed by all who knew her there. A hug from Amy was all you needed to make it through the week, and her love for her friends and family will live on.
Survivors include her husband, Jason McManigle; children, Abigail McManigle Baggett (Chris), Owen Russell, Zoe McManigle; and her father, Harvey Johnson. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Brady Clay Russell and her mother, Mary Helen Jeffcoat Johnson.
