Joseph E. Chenier, 78, Marshfield, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 20, 2022.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, April 1, 2022 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield, where the family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 pm until service time.
Joseph was born on December 31, 1943 in Arlington, Washington, to Joseph E. and Joyce (Strebe) Chenier.
He married Lorna Luscher and they later divorced. He married Becky Martens on August 24, 2001.
Joe worked a variety of jobs from a cook to maintenance. He had retired many times from his job that he adored and loved at Wyndham Villas. Everybody that knew Joe loved him. He had a big heart and would do anything for anyone. Joe lived a full life.
He is survived by his wife, Becky and children LaTonia Smith, Crystal Chenier, Heather (Lee) Drolshagen, Scott (Rachel) Chenier, Cassie, Hannah and Bryan Langreck. He is also survived by his endeared grandson, Cameron Langreck who he was helping to raise and grandchildren Ashley, Steven, and Michael McBride, Brittany and Zachary Drolshagen, Marshall and Zander Chenier and great grandchildren, Neveah, Bentley and Conner McBride. He is also survived by sisters, Maria Kluckman, Lynn (Boone) Dennison and Kathy (Pete) Ulrich, and brothers, Lee (Wanda) Bergmann and Dennis (Toby) Chenier and many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Robert Bergmann his parents-in-law, Bill and Charlotte Martens, son-in-law, Fred Smith and his fishing buddy, Jim Gruber.
