It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather Joseph Cheverino. He left us peacefully at the age of 83 on August 26, 2025. He is survived by his loving, devoted wife Anne of 46 years, his four children Theresa (Ralph), JoAnne (Bruce d. 3-11-16), Lucille (Dino), Joseph (Allison), and his five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was greeted in heaven by his daughter Donna, his parents Frank and Lucy and his brothers, William, David, and Michael; who he is now reunited with.
His love for his wife knew no bounds. As a father he was fiercely protective, supportive, and very proud of his children.
One of his greatest passions was cooking. He was an excellent chef who loved sharing his meals with others. His culinary talents were well known in the community and he often volunteered at the Moose Lodge and Elks club. His generosity was recognized and appreciated by many and he received several awards for his volunteer work in the kitchen. His delicious meals brought people together and filled as many hearts as it did stomachs.
He was a man of many talents, a true craftsman with and extraordinary knack for working with his hands. One of his greatest joys was the 54 cruises that he enjoyed with his family and friends. His knowledge, especially in trivia never ceased to amaze us.
The love and admiration he showed for his wife and children will live on in each of them, as will his legacy of hard work, creativity, and devotion. His love will be forever present in our hearts and memories. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.
