in Young Ward, Utah. Joseph was born on October 11, 1956 in Ogden, Utah to Joseph Claude
Christian Sr. and Colleen Green. He married Christine Glass. They later divorced. Then later,
he married Jeanette DeHart. He has four children. Christopher Jessop, (Ogden, UT), Joseph
Claude III “Little Joe”, who passed away January 12, 2024, just 4 days earlier, Brandy Lynn
(Duncansville, PA); Travis Arron (Logan, UT).
Grandpa Joe had a great sense of pride for his kids and grandkids, his eyes would light up
every time he saw them. They truly are his greatest joy and legacy.
Grandpa Joe had a great love for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, hiking, fishing and
camping. He also enjoyed having many great animals on the farm. He had an extreme soft
spot and love for animals which is why he always had a cat or dog at his side as a loyal
companion.
Opa, Joe’s mountain man name, loved being with friends with his same passion for
Rendezvous.
During his lifetime, Joe served his country for a short time, and was handy at many things, but
drywall was his specialty.
We would like to thank our family and friends, especially Shane White, for all their help and
friendship for Grandpa Joe.
The family will have a private memorial service during the summer, Joe’s favorite time of year.
