Oliver Christian Jr. Obituary
Oliver “Chris” Christian Jr., 89, of Talcott went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 8, 2025 at his home following a long illness.
Born May 15, 1936 in Pike County, KY he was a son of the late Oliver and Nanny Ellen Davis Christian.
Chris was a United States Army Veteran. He was a certified pipefitter, boilmaker and certified welder. Chris was a former employee of General Motors. He retired from the City of Columbus in 1996. Chris enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 63 years, Sandra L. Rogers Christian; two sons, Ronald Christian and wife Melissa and Oliver Christian III and two grandchildren, Jenna and Drew.
In honor of Chris’s wishes a celebration of life will be held at a later date and his body has been cremated.
