Myrtle Frances Pack Brabb, a remarkable centenarian who witnessed over a century of history unfold and the oldest resident at Main Street Care in Hinton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at the age of 107.

She was born on July 4, 1918 in Hinton, WV to the late Riley and Ida Lilly Pack.

A cherished member of the community, Myrtle dedicated her life to creating a warm and loving home for her family. She was known for her kindness, resilience, and sharp wit. Myrtle attended Riverview Chapel when she was able and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. Her precious smile and joyful presence will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Brabb; son, James Brabb; brothers, Earl, Ray, Noah, and Golden Pack; sisters, Oria O'Hara and Pearl Arnold.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister-in-law, Jean Gore; special niece, Juanita Brooks who fostered a safe and nurturing environment as a caregiver for many years; nieces, Ann Lewis, Wanda Brown, Tammy Richmond, Nadia Gerg (Bernie), Reva Ann Basham, Melissa Bowyer (Steve), Barbara Osborne, Marsha Wallace, Valerie Brabb, Maggie Brabb, and Kristi Scott (Jackie); nephews, Jason Gore (Melinda), "little" Milton Brabb, and Earl Brabb; great-nephew, Dewayne Brooks (Laurie); grandchildren, Steven Brabb, Regina Culbreath (Tom), Michael Brabb, and David Brabb.

A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Main Street Care in Hinton for their exceptional care and dedication.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton, WV with Pastor Butch Honaker officiating. Friends may visit from 12:00 pm until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Restwood Memorial Gardens in Hinton.
