Paul Fox Obituary
Paul Jackson Fox, 85, of Hix went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at his home following a long illness.
Born May 23, 1940 in Ramp, he was a son of the late Harry and Ida Mae Smith Fox.
Paul was a member of the Ramp Holiness Church, a former employee of the WVDOH, a construction worker, and timberman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cutting wood and gardening.
Preceding him in death include infant twins; Nanette Ann and Nanetta Lee Fox; one grandson, Braxton Fox; twin sister, Pauline Angell; six additional sisters, Louella Bennett, Freda Bennett, Illa Pierce, Alice Carroll, Madeline Bennett, Gladys Bennett, seven brothers; Joe, Edward, Hobart, William (Wed), Roger, and twins, Homer and Julius Fox.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 56 years, Nancy Cole Fox; three children, Lorie Fox and companion Gerald Richmond of Little Wolf Creek, Paul J. “Pete” Fox of Judson and William Fox and wife Melissa of Keystone Heights, FL; seven grandchildren, J.D. Fox and wife Sabrina, Laura Adkins, Kristen Angell and husband Scottie, Arizona Fox, Atreyu Fox, Azlee Fox and Damion Fox; five great grandchildren, Braydon Fox, Cameron Fox, Alicilyn Angell, Logan Adkins and Adelynn Mae Fox; one sister, Judy Bennett of Florida and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 6, 2025 at the Ramp Holiness Church with Pastors Felix Baker and Jim Boswell officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until time of services on Saturday at the church. Following the service, Paul’s wishes were to be cremated.
