Passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025 at the age of 81.

Predeceased by his parents, Joseph & Thomasina Cicatelli; son, Todd Cicatelli.

He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia (Tony) Silveira; grandchildren, Nyasia, Loryn, & Zackary; sister, Beverly (Jack) Bartlett; nieces, Tricia & Janeen; nephew, Sean, and many cousins.

Joe was an amazing brother, father, grandfather and special friend. A devout Catholic and a heart of gold. His family and friends were gifted with his stories of his love for trains and the good ole days told with his sense of humor. He also thoroughly enjoyed photography, whether if it was of a train, sunset, his family, etc. There wasn’t an experience he didn’t capture.

Joe frequently traveled to New Hampshire to visit his grandchildren and grand dog. His visits were so frequent, he was able to make more friends sharing his love of family and trains.

As his earthly family prepares to miss his dad jokes, there is comfort knowing he has been welcomed to heaven by those who have gone before him, especially his son.

Joe will be remembered for his smile, treating everyone as his family, sharing his stories and will be tremulously missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him. His last message was to “take care of each other” which is how he lived his life.

The family is forever grateful to the staff of Unity Hospital who supported Joe during his time with them.

Family will receive friends 4 - 6 pm Monday, March 10, 2025 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. His Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 am Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Holy Cross, 4492 Lake Ave. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave.
