Joseph Cilbrith Obituary
A man of remarkable character, he left behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness that will be cherished by all who knew him. Joseph proudly served his country in the Army. His professional life included working for Amtrak in California and Evans Chemetics LP, a DOW company, in Waterloo, New York.
During Skip's time in California, he welcomed his two sons Joseph Cilbrith and Joshua Cilbrith, into the world, creating a family that became the center of his universe.
In his younger years, Skip was an avid bodybuilder, competing in shows and dedicating himself to physical fitness. His passions extended beyond the gym to motorcycles, his family, and especially his beloved grandchildren who brought him endless joy.
Joseph was a man who would always lend a hand or help anyone in need. His love for his dogs was unparalleled, often rivaling his affection for people. He was known for his iconic phrase, "Do it for the man with no legs," a testament to his resilient spirit and encouragement for others to push forward, no matter the challenges they faced.
Joseph will be deeply missed by his sons, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his memory inspire us to live with the same strength, compassion, and love that he exemplified each and every day.
Keeping with Skip's wishes, a celebration of life will be announced at a later date. The family would love for anyone who may have known Skip to share with them any stories or memories they may have with him.

Sending deepest condolences to the family and dearest friends of "Skip". There wasn´t a day if you ran into Skip that he didn´t greet you with a smile and positive thought. I remember many times during our class years and after that he always treated everyone he knew without judgement and a genuine true friend. A person of character and example of what the world needs more. May you rest in Forever Paradise Skip. See you on the other side of the stars.

So sorry to hear of Skips passing. I was stunned. At the Laundromat in the plaza I saw him there a handful of times. We talked and laughed about our Waterloo High School shenanigans. I graduated with Skip. He was a funny guy and a good athlete. I did not know about his bodybuilding, but I can see it. He kept himself in good shape. His love for animals, his dogs, his sons, his family, he was proud of. I miss seeing him and talking up a storm with him. Such a loss, too soon. He was always smiling. He is in Gods kingdom now, in Gods hands. His job is done here. Till we meet again Skip. God bless you, your family and friends, and all that knew and loved you. RIP
