Celebration of life services for Apostle Joseph Peter Clarke, Jr., of Miami, Florida, will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022, at 11 AM in the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home in Dublin. Reverend Alvin Cleare, Sr., pastor of Victory On A Rock in Miami, Florid, will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville.
Joseph Peter Clarke, Jr, was born on Tuesday, March 13, 1951, to the late Joseph Peter Clarke, Sr, and the late Minnie Francita Clarke. He was educated in the Miami-Dade Public Schools and attended college in Miami. He was a very hard worker and provider. He was drafted into the United States Army in 1971 and was later honorably discharged. He also drove trucks, school buses, managed Community Parks and served as a lifeguard throughout the Miami-Dade community.
He confessed JESUS CHRIST as LORD and Savior early and became a deacon, licensed minister, Apostle and Pastor. He served faithfully and wholeheartedly. Apostle Clarke greeted everyone with "Praise ye the Lord his Mercy Endureth Forever". Apostle Clarke ministered the prison, hospitals, nursing homes in Georgia and Florida. He is the founder of JESUS HOOKUP Prayerline and Miracle Temple House of Prayer Healing & Deliverance Ministries, Inc.
Apostle Clarke passed away on Sunday, August 14, 2022. He was preceded in death by parents, Joseph Peter Clarke, Sr., Minnie Francita Clarke, Rudolph Rodger, Clarke, Allison Clarke, Robert Alexander Cooper, George David Cooper and by one daughter.
Apostle Clarke leaves loving memories that will be forever cherished by his caring and devoted wife, Denicia Clarke; ten children: Joseph Peter (Latricia) Clarke III, Cherika Clarke (Jasmin) Bernardin Javon (Sonja) Clarke, Nijai Clarke, Altermese Clarke, Danielle Clarke, Chanty Clarke, Jamilia Jamil and Jordan Mulkey, three siblings; Ava Clarke, Denise (Tony, Sr.) Flagg, Brandon Clarke. one aunt, Betsy Clarke, one brother-in-law, Germaine Jackson, one sister-in-law, Angela Jackson, a loving father and mother-in-law, who cherished him dearly, Aaron and Georgie Jackson, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends.
