Joseph Clegg Obituary

He is survived by his son Joseph E. Clegg III (Tricia) and his sisters, Marge Buford (Roy) and Jo Ann Finney (George).
He was preceded in death by his wife Pamela (Wessling) Clegg, his brother, Richard G. "Treetop" Clegg and his sister Helen Hemberger and grandson Michael Clegg.
Visitation will be from 2-6 PM Sunday at the Oak Street Chapel of Naville & Seabrook Funeral Homes (1846 E. Oak St. New Albany, IN).
His funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM Monday with visitation starting at 11:30 AM.
Burial with military honors will follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in his name to: VFW Post 1693 Honor Guard.

Joe is one of the best persons I have ever met . My first friend I met When I moved to New Alany In. Met him and his brother Tree at Vic's Cafe . Really is going to be missed . Rest in peace Sarge.

Topp as we called him at Ft. Knox was not only my 1st. Sgt. he was also a good no great friend to me at Armor Eng. Board. We had some good times during my time in the Army and even went to basketball games (even with him being a Indiana fan. We went to the sweet 16 games in Ky. We also went on several road trips. During the day he was my 1st. Sgt. after hours we were friends. I called him Joe and he called me "Big Bad Don". I had made plans to visit him this fall. Topp you job is done here, Keep them in line up in heaven. Love you Don Fulmer Conway, Ar.
