Joseph William Coccia

Joseph William Coccia, age 79, of Fort Mill, SC, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025, peacefully at home. The family is hosting a memorial service that will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Wolfe Funeral Home. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Born in Queens, NY, he was the son of the late Anthony Joseph Coccia and Rose Francis Coccia. Joeseph was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he served for two years and achieved the rank of Lance Corporal. He retired from The Department of Sanitation in New York City where he worked for over 22 years. Joseph never met a stranger, he was loved by anyone who met him and he could talk about anything. Joseph enjoyed working on small projects in his garage, taking care of his home and most importantly, he loved spending time with his family. Surviving is his loving wife and best friend of 56 years, Linda Ann Coccia; his children, Michele Caggiano, Anthony Coccia; grandchildren, Nicholas Caggiano, Joseph Caggiano, Nico Coccia and Tyler Coccia.
