Joseph Colledge Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Wing Mortuary - Lehi on Nov. 21, 2024.
Joseph Dee Colledge, 74, of Pleasant Grove, Utah, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2024, after a short illness with brain cancer. Born on July 3, 1950, in American Fork, Utah, Joseph was the son of the late Marcia Colledge and Lawrence Dee Colledge.
Joseph married the love of his life, Jacqueline Colledge, and together they raised six children: Heather (Kurt Gray), Brittnee (Steven Squires), Jedediah (Anna) Colledge, Matthew Dax (Lori) Colledge, Isabelle (Spencer Turnbow), and Nicholas (Josie) Colledge. He is survived by 21 grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life.
A lifelong learner, Joseph received his education at Snow College, Utah Technical College (now Utah Valley University), and Brigham Young University. In 1979, he founded Colledge Machine in Lindon, Utah, and worked as a manufacturing engineer and Machinist, a career he truly loved.
Joseph was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many capacities. He had a special love for the church's youth programs and worked tirelessly to help young people prepare for success in life.
Joseph had a passion for the outdoors and cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren, whether traveling, boating, visiting Lake Powell, snowmobiling, camping, or hiking. His greatest love, however, was designing and rebuilding vintage and collectible cars.
Known for his quiet service and remarkable ability to sense the needs of others, Joseph touched countless lives with his kindness and compassionate service.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at The Grove Creek Stake Center, located at 1176 North 730 East, Pleasant Grove, Utah, 84062.
