Richard Lawrence Colledge, 72, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, July 30th, 2025, in his Granbury home.
All services will be private.
Richard was born on January 4, 1953, in Pocatello, Idaho, to the late William Lawrence and LaVora Mae Christopherson. He grew up in Clackamas, Oregon and later moved to Las Vegas, Neveda. Richard proudly served his country in Vietnam in the USAF from 1971 until 1974. On June 30, 1975, Richard married Becky Curtis and together had 3 sons, Jason, Brandon, and Christopher. He was a master carpenter and was affectionately known as 'the best Roulette Wheel maker' in the country in addition to the fine furniture he produced. Carpentry was his passion! Richard and his wife Becky enjoyed traveling across the country in their RV. Most of all, Richard will be remembered for the love and devotion he had for his family - particularly for his grandchildren.
Richard is survived by his wife of 50 years, Becky Colledge; his sons, Jason Colledge, Brandon Colledge, and Christopher (Emily Zong) Colledge; grandchildren, Jenna, Luna, Maddox, Aiden, Aria, Lucas, Oliver, Ashton, and Dexter; brother, Wayne (Paula) Christopherson; his niece, Melissa Madrona; nephew, Johathan Christopherson; sister-in-law, Judy Curtis; nephew, Steven Love and niece, Allison Love; and by his best friend, Bob (Maureen) Swearengine.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his step-father, Kenneth Colledge.
