Joseph T. Corpora, 79, of Easton passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Gracedale Nursing Home. Born on January 30, 1946 in Easton he was a son of the late Soccorso and Angelina (Butto) Corpora.
He graduated from Easton High School where he played football from 1961 to 1963. Joe served in the United States Marine Corp Reserves. Joe worked at the ITT electron tube division as a glass blower for 25 years. He later worked as a custodian for the Easton Area School District until his retirement. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church. Joe enjoyed playing slow pitch softball in the Easton area for many years. He bowled in the men’s league at Bar-Don Bowling Alleys for many years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Nancy L. (Enea) Corpora; daughters, Becky Larimer and her husband, Dick of McLean, VA; Christine Cappello of Palmer Twp.; Michele Ryan and her husband, Dave of Bethlehem Twp.; Cara Corpora and her husband, Michael Baba of Palmer Twp.; grandchildren, Maggie, Ruby, Aric, Joseph, Nicole, Benjamin, Isabel, and Evan; sisters, Cathy McAvoy of Easton; Frances Corpora of Easton; and a brothers, Soccorso “Sam” Corpora of Pen Argyl.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Sebastiana “Bessie” Fisher, Carmella " Millie" Shook, and Gaetana "Gay" DiGirolamo; and a brother, Placido “Pat” Corpora.
Calling hours will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) immediately followed by a funeral service. Interment will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, William Penn Hwy., Palmer Twp., PA. Memorial contributions in Joe’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society PO Box 30386 Philadelphia, PA 19103.
