Joseph C. Craig II, 80, of Titusville, passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Oil City Healthcare and Rehab Center after an extended illness.
Joe was born on May 22, 1945, in Cleveland, OH, to the late Joseph C. and Barbara J. Hill Craig. He married Brenda D. Holmes on August 30, 1968, in Pittsburgh.
He was a graduate of Bay Village High School in Bay Village, OH.
Joe was a veteran, having served in the United States Army for 2 years and was stationed in Germany. After being honorably discharged, he attended and graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in graphic design.
He worked in graphic design for American Greeting Cards in Cleveland for 28 years. He worked as a freelance artist for various companies until his retirement.
Joe was a member of the Bruce Shorts Post 5958 VFW.
He enjoyed building military dioramas and model cars, fishing, painting, camping, and listening to the band Dire Straits.
He is survived by his wife Brenda of Titusville; his daughter Amanda Rodgers and husband Brandon of Oil City; three granddaughters, Ciera Murry, Christina-Jean Rodgers, and Anne Rodgers all of Oil City; two brothers, Jeffrey Craig and wife Laurie of Arizona, and James Craig and wife Elizabeth of Cranberry Twp. PA; sister-in-law, Susan Zaritski and husband David of Titusville; his aunt Shirley Bossard of Titusville; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private to the family.
