William Joseph "Joe" Kemick Jr., 82, of Titusville, passed away on November 17, 2025, at his residence.
Joe was born on February 11, 1943, in Titusville, a son of the late William J. Sr. and Hazelmae Eddy Kemick.
He was a graduate of McDowell High School, Class of 1961. After high school he enlisted in the United States Army. He served for 6 years in the reserves, and was honorably discharged on September 3, 1969.
Joe was employed at Universal Stainless Steel, working in the annealer division for over 44 years before his retirement.
In his youth, Joe enjoyed fishing, hunting, archery, and running. He was an avid reader, loving all the horror classics by Stephen King and Dean Koontz. He had a love for classic cars, with the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air being his favorite model. He was a member and enjoyed playing golf with his friends in the Elder Statemen League, at Green Acres Golf Course.
Joe is survived by his children, Jerry Kemick and wife Diane of Franklin, Kelly Chappel and husband Jeffrey of Titusville; his grandchildren, Haley Lantz and husband Brian of Industry, PA, Colton Kemick and fiancé Jen Williams of East Durham, NY, Kahla Myers and husband Michael of Strongsville, OH, Ryan Gormley and fiancé Bailey Bodamer of Pleasantville, and Sean Gormley of Titusville; his 6 great grandchildren; his sister, Bonnie Hoehn of Erie; his close friends, Brian Mangel, Jeff Sterling, and the staff of Sam's Restaurant.
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his brother Thomas Kemick.
No services will be observed at this time. A memorial service will be held in Joe's honor in the near future, date to be announced.

Joe, this is the hardest thing I have had to do. I miss you so much. You were a big part of my life. I will miss all of tbe time that we had togother. I will always love!
