Joseph Frederick "Joe" Craig, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, in Manahawkin, New Jersey. Born on May 25, 1944, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Joe lived a life filled with love, laughter, and generosity.

Joe was the cherished father of Meghan Brennan (Michael) and Colleen McGrath (Sean), who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. He was the proud grandfather of Molly, Morgan, Cade, Maura, and Shane, who brought him immense joy and pride. Joe is also survived by his sister Anne Stewart (Phillip) and his nieces Lori Lawlor (James) and Kathy Bloomer (Joseph), all of whom were deeply touched by his kindness and humor. He was predeceased by his beloved girlfriend Ethel Link as well as his siblings Robert, MaryAnne, and Edward. Though their loss weighed heavily on him at times, Joe carried their memories forward with grace and strength.

Joe was a veteran of the Army Reserves. Known for his selflessness and compassion, Joe always put others first. He was a charismatic chatterbox, who could strike up a conversation with anyone, winning them over with his jokes. Joe delighted in frequenting his favorite restaurants. He cherished the opportunity to share meals with his favorite people.

Joe's legacy is one of love, laughter, and unwavering generosity. His warmth touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. May his memory bring comfort to those who mourn his passing. Friends and family will gather for a Memorial Mass on March 20, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, 747 West Bay Ave, Barnegat, NJ.
