Joseph Curto, beloved brother, uncle "Uncle Joe", great uncle and great-great uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on August 23, 2025, at home in Trenton, NJ, at the age of 97.
Joseph was born on November 4, 1927, in Trenton, NJ where he resided until his passing. Joseph started his career at the early age of 17, obtaining employment at Reedman Chevrolet Automobile Dealership located in Langhorne, PA where he was employed for 54 years as a service department supervisor. Joe would always assist as a purchasing negotiator for family members and friends who were in need of a vehicle.
Joseph never married nor had children, however, he became the father and life guiding force in the lives of his many nieces and nephews. This was especially true for his nieces and nephews following the early passing of their mother's, Joseph's sisters, Catherine and Frances. Joseph's beloved family consisted of his many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
Joseph was an amazing ballroom dancer even later in life. He always said that dancing assisted in giving him a long and healthy life. Joseph did have the love of his life, Anna Marie. They met on New Year's Eve in New York City in 1970. Their relationship lasted for 45 years until her passing in 2015.
Joseph was also blessed with a circle of true friends who cared for him with devotion, and kindness. The summer months were always special, as he would attend many park concerts in recent years with his long time friend Armando being the event coordinator. The events were always special because it was time spent with his friends.
Although Joseph was almost 98 years old at the time of his passing, his energetic enthusiasm for living life and his sincerity to assist others allowed him to live a long and fulfilled life. May we all live a long life as youthful and energetic as was Joseph.
