Captain Joe Drosey passed away on October 15, 2024 in Ocean City, Maryland. Joe was born on May 2, 1961 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to his beloved parents Joseph Sr. and late Norma. Joe is survived by his father and best friend Joseph Sr., sister Judy Cilona (David), sister Maryann Drosey, nephew Jake Cilona (Justine), niece Alexis Meister (Zachary), and his great-nephew and nieces Mason, Hadley, and Reagan. Joe spent many years of his life as the Captain of Rhonda's Osprey Charters, hunting, and traveling all over the world to enjoy his hobbies. Some of his greatest accomplishments were fishing alongside his closest friends in Venezuela and Australia. He was a mentor to all, on the water and in the woods, a true master of his craft. He had so many more hunts to go on, but he will forever be remembered for his love and dedication to his work, which he would say he didn't work a day in his life, family, and friends. A memorial service in Joe's honor will be held in the spring in Ocean City, Maryland. In lieu of flowers, financial contributions in memory of Joe can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.

Love you Joe, miss you. I was always amazed how Joe could see every bite. Even a bonito a football field away. He shared his knowledge and his pain with me and I am forever grateful to have known him. I love you Joe.
