Joseph John "Joe" Eisen Jr

After a short illness, Joseph J. Eisen died peacefully on December 16, 2024, at the age of 93 and began his eternal life with God, our Heavenly Father. Joe was born on April 30, 1931 in Cincinnati, OH. He served in the Army and fought in the Korean War from 1950-1953. Following the war, he became a truck-salesman and worked for International Harvester.
Joe moved to Indian Harbour Beach in 1984 where he continued to work as a truck salesman in Melbourne. After a few years, Joe decided to work at Ascension Catholic Church driving a school bus. He then moved into maintenance, working there for many years until retiring. Retirement led to his volunteering at Holy Name of Jesus and also Ascension. Joe loved the catholic community and had many close friends.
In his earlier years, he could be found at the golf course. Golf was his passion but had to give it up due to health reasons. Joe was a gentle soul with a big heart. His humor was infectious and he was loved by everyone.
He leaves behind, his loving wife, Patricia Eisen and stepson, Chris Agruso. Joe also leaves his six children, Joseph III (Donna), Doug (Melanie), Anna (John) Block, Dennis, Matthew and Martin. He also leaves 4 step-grandchildren, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Joe's funeral Mass was held at Holy Name of Jesus Church on January 8, 2025 and was honored by the Veterans.
Joe was interred at the Holy Name of Jesus Memorial Gardens.
