Eiser, Joseph H. SCHENECTADY Joseph H. Eiser, 79 of Schenectady, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022, at Albany Medical Center, after a long illness. Born on June 22, 1943, in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Joseph P. and E. Lorraine Blanchfield Eiser. Joseph was a graduate of South Colonie High School and went on to receive his bachelor's degree from Siena College. Joseph spent most of his career in sales, working for various companies on the Eastern seaboard primarily living in the southern states for over 23 years until relocating back to the Capital District in 1988. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, cooking, and traveling. He became an avid movie buff, was interested in the arts and enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife and dogs. Survivors include his wife, Diane Humphrey Eiser; his son, Scott Joseph Eiser (Jacqueline); a brother, Mark (Carol) Eiser; nieces and nephews, Gavin (Marianne) Eiser, Lindsay (Jared) Eiser Quillen, Megan (Sean) Eiser-Nolan, and Bradley (Allissa) Eiser; and many great-nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 11, at 11 a.m. in the Vale Cemetery, Schenectady. Please use the Brandywine Street entrance.
