It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph M Escobedo, who entered eternal rest surrounded by his family.
Joseph M Escobedo was born January 15th, 1948, in Torreon, Mexico where he grew up until he was 9 years old. He moved to Chicago with his parents and siblings where he graduated from St. Michaels in the year 1967, shortly after he enlisted in the U.S. Army in the year 1968 where he served until 1970.
Beloved son of the late Jose Cipriano Escobedo Flores and Maria De Los Angeles Escobedo Magallanes; Beloved brother of John V (Christine), Michael A Escobedo, Chayo (Michael) Ruper Escobedo, Joseph J (Paula) Escobedo, Socorro Sisler, Victor J (Karla) Escobedo; preceded by his first wife Francisca Rosa Escobedo Avila; Beloved Father of Alexander (Cindy) L Escobedo; Beloved husband to Margarita Garcia Escobedo; Stepfather to Ruth (Mark) Hartshorn, Daniel Garcia, Liliana Garcia, Francisco Garcia; Grandfather to Isabella R Escobedo, Jacob J Escobedo, Joshua A Escobedo, Valentina Jimenez, Raphael Jiminez; Beloved uncle to many.
