Mr. Joseph Eugene Everage

CLAXTON: Joseph Eugene (Boots) Everage, 79, of Claxton, GA, passed away on June 28, 2024 at the Resort in Pooler Hospice following a long illness.
Memorial service will be held at the Glenville National Cemetery on July 12, 2024 at 1:00p.m.
Joe was born October 14, 1944 in Crestview, FL, son of the late Herman Everage and late Selma (Kerby) Trafficanti. He served 6 years in the Navy with 2 tours in Vietnam. His many endeavors included working on oil rigs in Louisiana and in the Gulf of Mexico as well as general construction throughout the years. He returned to Claxton 11 years ago to be closer to family and friends.
He is survived by son Jimmy (Holli) Harper of Claxton, GA, daughters Sabrina White of Morgan City, LA, Heather Banda of Des Moines, IA, Regina Herbert of Morgan City, LA, and Jessica Everage of Morgan City, LA, brothers Thomas of Phoenix, AZ, and Ronald (Anna) of Carrollton, TX, and sisters Jacqueline Brumbles of Myrtle Beach, SC, Sharon Sapp of Daisy, GA, and Karon (Maynard) Anderson of Daisy, GA, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, KJ Everage, brother Jimmy Kerby, sister Joyce Abell, and niece
