Joseph Charles Garde, 76, passed away September 7, 2024 at his home.
Born in Edwardsville on September 10, 1947, he was the son of Charles and Dorothy (Kinser) Garde.
A U.S. Army veteran, he had been a self-employed painter.
On August 22, 1997 in Edwardsville, he married Lynn Troeckler. She survives.
Surviving also are a step-son, Josh Daniel (Tina) Troeckler of Godfrey; brother, Jerry Keyes of Birchtree, MO; and two sisters, Mary Garde of Thomason, KY, and Jean Garde of Edwardsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dan Garde; and sister, Dorothy Garde.
Cremation rites were accorded.
No services have been scheduled at this time.

I am Mary Jane {Boccaleoni} Brase a former neighbor of Joes years ago on Orchard St. I learned about Joes death and I was shocked.
Mary, you and your family have my condolences . Joe was such a great guy.
