Joseph Geiler Obituary

Joe was a 1963 graduate of St. Joseph's High School in West New York, New Jersey. He served his country in the U.S.Army from 1965 to 1967 in Vietnam. He worked over 34 years and retired from Colgate as an inventory manager.
Joe was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. and a member of Christ Our Light Parish. He enjoyed coaching softball and shopping but above all, he was a family man who loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.
He leaves his wife of 48 years, Dianne (Quinn) Geiler; children, Kathleen (James) Kisseberth, Tara (Dave) Fortney, Scott (Wendy) Geiler, Sharon (Craig) Enright and Joanne (Todd) Marte; sixteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews; and his beloved dog, Bailey.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 4 to 7pm with a wake service at 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place at Christ Our Light Parish on Thursday at 11 am with Father Nicholas Ginnetti officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors performed by the Guernsey County Veterans Council. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Christ Our Light Parish. Joe's online guest book may be viewed and signed at www.bundy-lawfuneralhome.com.

Dianne & Family, deep sympathy to each of you on this great loss of Joe. He served his country, family, church, work place & community well. He will be truly missed. Dianne, you & Joe always gifted our Sisters over these many years abundantly. THANK YOU! May you have many pleasant memories to carry Joe's spirit in your minds & hearts throughout your family for generations. THANK YOU, Dianne for being so attentive to Joe. You are all in my prayers.
