Joe and his wife lived next door to my grandfather when I was a teenager. He was very kind to me and my grandmother and his wife and I would go fishing together at night. So sad to hear of his passing. My sincerest condolences.

I am very sorry to learn of Joe´s passing. I knew and worked with when he was Commonwealth Detective and later as Meade County Sheriff. He was the best and very intuitive when it came to people. He was adept at talking with criminal suspects and charming a confession from them!
It was a privilege to know him and an honor to work with him.
