Sandra Jean "Stevenson" Kasey

Mrs. Sandra Jean Kasey, age 81, of Ekron, KY, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, KY. Mrs. Kasey was born on May 27, 1944, the daughter of Marvin Stevenson and Opal Lewis Lamkin.

Mrs. Kasey was a longtime member of Hill Grove Baptist Church. She earned her certification as a licensed beautician, but for most of her life she did what was truly the most important thing to her, taking care of her family. Mrs. Kasey also loved being outdoors working in her garden and with her flowers. She was always on the lookout for a good deal when it came to antiques, as she loved to shop for and collect them.

Mrs. Kasey was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Tammy McCormick; her grandson, Kenneth Dane McCormick; and two brothers, Marvin Delano and Buddy Stevenson. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Flea Kasey; her son, Barry Kasey; six grandchildren, Drew Kasey Mills, William Chase McCormick, Lindsey Rae Burch, Brayden Michael, Logan James, and Savannah Lee Kasey; three great grandchildren, Reed Kasey Mills, Lainey Lynn and Ellie Rae Burch; two nephews, Bubby and Michael Stevenson; and two nieces, Regina Archer and Shana Stevenson.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, with Rev. Jerry Shacklett officiating. Burial will follow in Cap Anderson Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Wednesday.
