Ronald L. “Ronnie” Kasey, 72, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville. He was born September 3, 1952 in Daviess County to the late Thomas Leo and Alice Gordon McIntire Kasey. Ronnie graduated from Owensboro High School and attended Owensboro Vocational School where he took Auto Body and Paint classes. He was a dedicated worker having worked and retired from Regional Water Resource Agency after 40 years as a Class four plant manager. He also had worked at Sparkle Brite Car Wash.
In his spare time, he loved to watch Western movies, game shows, Christmas shows, visit with family, and loved taking the dogs for walks. Ronnie was a people person and tried to help others in need including his family. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. Ronnie will always be loved and missed and is now in the arms of his savior, Jesus Christ.
Ronnie is also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Glenn Kasey, and three nephews, Donald G. Kasey II, Thomas Franklin Kasey, and Travis Aubrey.
Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Karen D. Kasey; a brother and sister, Jerry W. Kasey and Kathy Clark, both of Owensboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Ronnie will be 3 PM Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with visitation from Noon until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be 1 PM Monday in Elmwood Cemetery.
