I can remember when my dad picked me up my mom's and let me spend the summer at his logging camp in Portola he picked me up at my mom's and we drove to Portola he even let me drive part of the way eve. Though I hit a deer on the way.it was my first time driving.after we got to the logging camp a t nite I slept above him and he would read me Patric McManus stories and we would laugh.he would we up at four in the morning and allow me to make him breakfast before he left for work with Tom stanton.

One of my first memories is when my dad took me to the coast with Paul peonies and bought me my first poker knife it was a fishing knife and had to blades one was for clean9ng and the other was for scaling the fish.
