Joseph W. Haring, 63, of Jefferson, Pa., passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 10, 2024 in his home. He was born October 23, 1960 in Waynesburg, Pa., a son of Margaret A. (Clayton) Haring of Jefferson and the late Charles J. Haring. Mr. Haring served with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard and retired in 2014 from Watters Pool Supply. He enjoyed working the family farm.
Surviving are his wife, Opal L. (Hill) Haring; four daughters, Opal Haring, Tonya Haring and Crystal Haring, all of Jefferson and Bobbie Haring of Waynesburg; a step son, John Hill of Eighty Four, Pa.; 17 grandchildren; a brother, Charles J. Haring (Barbara) of Mather, Pa.; a sister, Bernice Garrett (Steve) of Waynesburg and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are a brother who died in infancy; a niece, Beth Ann Haring and his step father, Stanley Halsey.
There will be no public viewing and arrangements are private.
