Joseph Lee Harlamert Sr.

Joseph Lee "Buddha Joe" Harlamert, 65, of Louisville passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 16, 2022, surrounded by family.
He was born April 21, 1957, in Louisville one of eight children to Leroy Harlamert and Jeannette Settles Harlamert.
Joseph was a carpenter for many years and spent much of his time employed with Whittenberg Construction Company.
He is preceded in death by a son, Joseph L. "Lil Joe" Harlamert; grandson, Isaiah Basham; and brothers, Jim and Jeff Harlamert.
Joseph is survived by his children, April Harlamert, Andrea Harlamert (Lara), Chad Harlamert and Amy Basham; 10 grandchildrenJacie and Jaelyn Harlamert; Kayla and Dynasty Basham; Nisha Swift; Chad Austin, and Paeton Harlamert; Ashtynn White and Nolin and Beckett Dean-Harlamert; 8 great-grandchildren and his siblings, Anna Thomas (Gary), John Harlamert (Susan), Sue Bruner (Lee), Charles Harlamert, Holly Fortner (Charles) and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, 2042 Buechel Bank Road with burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of Mass at the church.
