Joseph Henry Herrman, 88, passed away on March 10, 2026, at Rhode Island Suites in Ransom, Kansas. He was born on May 26, 1937, in Utica, Kansas the son of Albert and Isabel (Lafort) Herrman.
Joe was a farmer and a soil conservationist. He was a member of the Ransom VFW Post No. 7972. He married Della Evel on June 23, 1963, in Utica, Kansas.
Survivors include his wife, Della Herrman of Utica; son, Timothy Herrman of Ellis; and brother, Robert Herrman of Utica. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Steven; 3 sisters; and 3 brothers.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, March 14, 2026, 10:30 a.m., at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Ness City, Kansas. Burial in the Utica Cemetery, Utica, Kansas. Visitation will be on Friday, March 13, 2026, from 5 to 7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Ransom VFW Post No. 7972.
