Joseph Ingemi Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Richardson Funeral Home - Leominster on Jan. 23, 2026.
Joseph Ingemi, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully with his adoring family by his side on January 13, 2026, at the age of 72. Born on March 7, 1953, Joseph's life was one marked by unwavering kindness and an abundance of love, which he generously shared with all who knew him.

Joseph's journey began in the heart of a close-knit family, and though he was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Edonia (Pascarelli) Ingemi, his sister Theresa (Ingemi) Valera, and his beloved son Joseph Ingemi, his legacy of love and compassion remains a beacon for all. His sister Joanna (Ingemi) Thibaudeau of Leominster continues to carry the family torch with grace and strength.

For 54 beautiful years, Joseph was the devoted husband to Sharron (Hancock) Ingemi, the love of his life. Together, they built a family and a home filled with laughter, kindness, and cherished memories. Their love story was one for the ages, and it will continue to inspire their children, Laurie and her husband Justin Brashier (deceased), Kari and her husband Canaan Breen of Baldwinville, and Shawn Ingemi of Leominster, MA.

Joseph's role as a grandfather was one he embraced with joy and pride. His five grandchildren, Mackenzie, Anthony, Corinne, Joseph, and Nico, were the light of his life. He imparted wisdom, shared stories, and above all, taught them the value of family and the importance of being kind to others. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

His interests and hobbies were many, but it was his role as a beloved husband and father that he cherished most, even throughout his long illness. Nothing brought him more joy than being surrounded by his family & friends. Hampton Beach was his happy place; he loved beach getaways with his wife. He was also an Elvis Presley fanatic; you could often find him singing or humming an Elvis tune.

Joseph's life was a testament to the power of love and the impact of a kind heart. Those who had the privilege of knowing him often described him as loving and kind-words that only begin to encapsulate the warmth and generosity he exuded. He will be deeply missed.
