Joseph Andrew “Andy” Jackson, Jr. passed a way on Saturday, November 29, 2025, in Jackson, MS. He was 71 years old.
Andy was born on January 17, 1954, to Joseph Andrew Jackson, Sr. and Montez Nelda Wade Jackson in Tylertown, MS. He loved deer hunting, fishing and playing golf. Andy appreciated a good nap and a hardy meal. But most of all he enjoyed being with his grandchildren. He will truly be missed.
Andy is preceded in death by parents, Papa Joe and Momma Tezzie Jackson. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Debbie Jackson of Florence; daughter, Jamie Michelle “Mikki” Jackson Plemons (Brad); son, Joseph Andrew “Chip” Jackson III (Courtney) of Phoenix, AZ; grandchildren, Evelyn Presley Jackson, Eloise Penelope Jackson, and Katelyn Michelle Plemons; sisters, Pam Hobbs (Robert) of Baton Rouge, LA, and Shelia Clink (Barry) of Tyler, TX; and aunt, Ann Hart of Madison, MS.
