Joseph James Jarvis

60, of Lower Burrell, died Tuesday September 9, 2025 in the VA Medical Center, Pittsburgh. He was born in Natrona Heights on December 9, 1964 and had been a resident of Lower Burrell since moving back from Texas in 2001.

Mr. Jarvis was an Army Veteran serving in the Gulf War and was a member of the Abundant Joy Fellowship, Tarentum. He enjoyed participating in the wheelchair games and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Steelers and Pirates.

He is survived by his wife Sarah C. Chiduku Jarvis, five children, four grandchildren, sister Karman Jarvis of California, cousins Kenny James of Arkansas and Shawn Clements of New Kensington.

He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.

Burial with military honors will take place Thursday at 10:30 AM at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. Arrangements by THE RUSIEWICZ FAMILY OF FUNERAL DIRECTORS, ARNOLD & LOWER BURRELL. www.RusiewiczFH.com
