Joseph "Joey" P. Mann Jr.

Joseph (Joey) Paul Mann Jr., 69, of Bay Village, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on July 20, 2021. Joey was the loving and devoted husband of Alyce Mann; loving father of JoAnna Mann, Claire Mann (Lawton White) and Alex Mann (Tyler Davis); beloved son of Joan Bolas (the late Henry Bolas) and the late Joseph P. Mann Sr.; cherished brother of Judy Parker and Gloria May. Joey graduated from Westlake High School and was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was dedicated to his successful concrete business, which was trusted by all for over 40 years. He was passionate and meticulous about his trade. Anyone who observed his work could fully appreciate the skill and artistry that Joey brought to each and every job. He had an unmatched talent for design, creating beauty and elegance in his own unique style. Joey had a love for the outdoors, especially the mountains. He skied all over the world, however, Vail, Colorado was a true gem to him and a dream that he made into a reality. A piece of Joey was and will always be in Vail. Not only was it his dream but a dream that he lovingly shared with his family, bringing the wonder of the mountains into all their lives. His passion for the outdoors and the beauty of the world around him inspired everyone in his life. He was always genuine and touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. He never gave it a second thought to help a friend in any way that he was able to. He was a proud and generous father who loved his family dearly. Joey's love for his family and friends made being together a gift, creating countless treasured memories that will never be forgotten. His propensity for spontaneous fun and excitement brought the best of life to every moment. His ability to give the most sound and encouraging advice was rooted in his insightful and gentle nature. All who were blessed to know him are so thankful for who he was and all he brought into our lives. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, July 31 at 10:30am at St. Raphael's, 525 Dover Center Rd, Bay Village, Ohio. All are welcome.
