Joseph Allen Kaminowski, age 69 of Painesville Twp., passed away October 19 th, 2025 at home surrounded by his family. He was born April 16 th, 1956 in Cleveland to the late Joseph and Celia Kaminowski.

Joe was a scheduler for CEI in Eastlake and retired after 33 years of service.

Joe enjoyed raising fresh fish in his pond where he spent most of his time. He also volunteered rescuing small dogs in Lake/Geauga County. He loved Cleveland sports and played hockey in high school and his younger years. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Joe was the loving husband for 27 years to Mary Kaminowski (nee Yano); dearest father of Kristi (Todd) Svejkovsky; beloved grandfather of Mason and Madi Svejkovsky; brother of the late David Kaminowski and loving baby sister; brother in law of William (Fran) Yano, Sharon (David) Sohl, Chris (Ron) Felice, Andy (Marge) Yano, Laura (Mike) Yano Blauman, and Terry Yano; cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews; loving dog Coco.

All services were private.

Donations can be made in Joe's name to your favorite animal shelter.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Jeff Monreal Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Painesville.
