Joseph J. Knipp

Joseph J. Knipp passed away on Monday September 18, 2023, at the age of 88 in Knoxville Tennessee. Joe was born in Manitowoc, and he lived there until 1999 when he and his wife moved to Knoxville Tennessee. He spent his entire working career with the Newell Corporation, retiring in 1996 after 43 years of service.
In addition to being a skilled woodworker, Joe understood most things mechanical and electrical and could fix most anything. He was always willing to share his skills with anyone that might need his help.
Joe was preceded in death by his father Andrew, and mother Christine, two brothers Andrew and Francis, and one sister Beverly. Joe is survived by his wife of 65 years, Bev, one daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Dave Housaman (Salem, WI), and one son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Micol Knipp (Knoxville, TN). Joe is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The immediate family will have a memorial service in Knoxville at Rose Mortuary and a gravesite service at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowcoc Wisconsin.
