Mr. Kuhla was the pe teacher at Elmwood when I taught special education. He was so great with the students, I only think of him with love. What a gift for the whole school. Lucky us for knowing him.

Mr. Kuhla was my gym teacher at Elmwood from 1987-1992. I tell my children about him all of the time, now that they are in elementary school. He made sports fun and I played high school and college sports because of him. Thank you, Mr. Kuhla, for inspiring so many. We will remember you always.

Mr. Kuhla was my P.E. teacher from 1966/67 to 71/72 at Elmwood Elementary. He was so compassionate. On September 6, 1967, when I was seven years old, we lost my older sister to a tragic neighborhood accident. Mr. Kuhla was so helpful and supportive to me and my family during that difficult time, and for years after. He was an amazing man, teacher, and mentor.
To this wonderful man's family and friends, know that as you grieve, I remember and honor him.
